Moonlight Angel

When the stars come out And the moon shines bright, A single girl Lies in bed at night. All alone in the world; All alone in her head She's awake to the night, While the others are dead. They sleep it all away-- They know that they can, But she stays awake listening to her fan. It seems impossible To even close her eyes. She just lies there thinking And silently cries.
