Moonlight Reflection

She is your sun.

I was a solar eclipse passing through.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Beautiful, but I could not provide the warmth you need to survive.
Because you are a tree.
She is your summer solstice.
Solace.
Something you could never find in me.
For I am the moon.
The only light you ever saw in me was from her reflection.
