Moonlight Ride
Riding through the starlit, snowy sky,
In a chariot pulled by a white horse,
Propelled not by wings, but by magic alone.
My chariot is as white and soft as the snow.
My lover rests her tired head,
Setting it gently on my shoulder,
Whispering softly into my ear,
“We can be together
For as long as we can be.”
I carry my maiden out onto the moon,
Leading her onto the crescent glowing in the night,
Saying, “My darling, sweet darling,
Our love is as high as the moon,
High as the stars that twinkle above and beyond.”
I take her in my embrace,
And waltz with her
On the cascading moonbeams that pierce
The starlit sky.
My chariot waits,
It is as mystical as space.
Can you read my mind?
It is calling out to you,
“Take me away on an endless journey.
Like a midnight dream that never ends,
Be there with me and fill my life with infinite wonders.”
We fly through space and beyond the galaxies.
That is how far and wide our love is.
We ride in a chariot bound for nowhere but romance and happiness.
