Moons Answer

The howl of the wind, the rustle of leaves.

Swaying trees that dance to the rhythm of the night.

Darkened woods, lurking shadows all round,

casting fears of consumption;

trying hard not to be wallowed up by he life of evil.

The only friend in the night.

Casting rays of bright light, battling the dark.

It is a never ending battl to stay on the path.

The light so warm and comforting, but the dark is mysteriously luring.

The river shows its reflections, you look or answers

searching deep in the shadowy water yet no answer appears.

Worries consume your shallow soul, finally, the water shows an answer.

You walkin, the chill dancing throughyour blood, piecing your mind.

You ake a final glance and resume the walk;

finally all that surrounds you is water.

It is peceful, and you sleep,

Never to awaken, but never to fear again.

Full time college student, my major is engineering because I love to build things. I love to write because stories can build worlds and galaxies far beyond what an engineer could build.
