The Moon's Wish
As the golden crisp sun began to fall
The moon rose up to the beckoning call
Night covered the sky like a curtain
If the golden sun died is uncertain
The whispering wind heard the moon's wish
And passed it on to the glistening fish
They began to swim in synchronization
And spread the moon's wish across the nation
The moonlit river which contained the beasts
Brought the fish to the forests having tables of feasts
The forests, too busy eating to notice
Were under the influence of the Lotus
As the beasts began to bawl
They saw a golden horse from a nearby stall
The horse, happy to carry the message
Left glittering scales on nearby foilage
As the golden horse carried the wish throughout the valley
Overhead, a comet appeared by the name of Halley
The horse became exhausted, despite doing its best
And made a clearing in the grass and started to rest
And so the moon's wish was a mystery
When the sun rose, it became a part of history
