Morbid Sensation

The sweet embrace

A morbid sensation

Somehow enticing

Staring death in the face

No pain

No angst

No feeling at all

Other than that of eternal slumber

Whether you’ve danced with the devil

Or sang with the angels

Remained pure

Or dabbled in evil

You too

Someday

Inevitably

Will stare death in the face
