More

“What I want is more.

More and more, from the ceiling to the floor

And door to door

I want big house, big family, I want not poor.

Why wait for—“

No. You don’t want that petty chore

You can’t war

You won’t battle for that you say you adore

Can’t have more

Broken pieces of now, never mind what’s in store

“It’s my score

Don’t tell me I can’t, I deserve it and what’s more

My life’s tore

My situation made me this beast, hurt and sore

That’s what it’s for

I never had, and now I’m asking for just a chance more”

That’s just lore

If that’s all you are, a product, what’s that brain for?

What’s choice for?

Why bother begging if you’re only a product of being poor,

Blood and gore

Those movies that you watched, magazines from a store

Rotten core

That’s not the reason you were given life for

There aren’t any things that will make your heart soar

You’ve yet been given so much, and yet you ask for more.
