More
More
He may be the kindest guy you’ve ever met
He may be a gentleman and hold open the door
He may love you sweetly
But God loves you more
Your mom may take good care of you
And all your problems bore
She may love you a lot
But God loves you more
Your siblings may look out for you
And pick you up when you hit the floor
They may love you strongly
But God loves you more
Your dad may believe in you
And for you work his fingers sore
He may love you earnestly
But God loves you more
Your grandparents may treasure you
And treat you with presents galore
They may cherish and love you
But God loves you more
The preacher may tell you the truth
And for Christ he may implore
He may love you devotedly
But God loves you more
She may be beautiful
And easily able to adore
She may love you tenderly
But God loves you more
Your friends may make you laugh
And all your hope restore
The may love you inspiringly
But God loves you more
Your teacher may help you
And be a great mentor
They may love you diligently
But God loves you more
You could meet thousands of people and travel the whole world
And in every nook and cranny you could explore
Everyone in the world could love you
But God will always love you more
Jesus hung on the cross for you
God turned His back for all your sin he bore
People may show great love and kindness
But no one could love you more
