More Than

More Than I want to travel the globe, to a secluded place, somewhere quiet, where I can feel free, get away from the crowd, noise and the senseless drama. Poetry is more than words on a page, writing is more than describing every detail of the moment I found my soul mate. When it's time to put pen to paper, when my fingertips are glued to the keyboard and my eyes are hypnotized by the computer screen it’s not about writing a five page essay it’s about going to the place only I see, the place I can be myself, the place I don't have to hide, or the place that keeps me from being lonely. Poetry is an out of body experience, it’s the hardest exercise dealing with the mind and soul.It trains your imigination, preps your creativity and is therapy for your concious. Poetry is one of the wisest teachers in the world. Poetry is more than words on a page it's an escape.
