More Than I Seem

I am nothing.

The frigid cold hearted can never say

I can be as brilliant as the sun.
and I know that

my voice is worthless.
I do not believe that
I have the power to be great
and to be honest,
my efforts are futile.
it is the lie that
I am more than I seem.

(and none of this can change unless I reverse it)

I am more than I seem.
it is a lie that
my efforts are futile.
and to be honest,
I have the power to be great.
I do not believe that
my voice is worthless
and I know that
I can be as brilliant as a sun.
The frigid cold hearted can never say
I am nothing.
