More Than Just Music.
My heart soars when I listen,
The rhythm runs through my blood,
With every beat it fuels my soul.
I look to those voices to sooth me,
To take away the worry.
Behind every chorus is a breath taking meaning,
These bands know me.
Every feeling,
Every thought,
Every image I see,
Their songs show me the way,
Expressing everything I can't say.
Cloaked with the feeling of being awake,
I thank them for helping me up,
For sending these messages of hope,
To continue on for the better.
They are more than just bands,
It is more than just music,
These are letters of encouragement,
From people who understand.
