More Than Just Words On A Page

I sit here writing

Ideas going from left to right

Expressing myself, people seeing me in a different setting a different lighting

Writing all day and being inspired at night

What I write is more than just words on a page

They actually mean something

Allowing me to vent share my thoughts my emotions hurt, happy, enraged

A girl reaching her goals and having success when she came from nothing

See society has it all wrong

I'm not some girl with broken dreams and silly goals

Being aware of my emtions and able to express and accept them makes me strong

My words on this page can impact you and pierce through your soul

I started writing because...

Because I have nothing better to do? NO!

It's because I'm aware of the oppression and pressure socitey has on us

These words these poetic bars like a river in my veins they just flow

And when I write

I'm on top of the world

I don't cut myself short because writing takes me to new heights

And I show people I'm an extraoridinary writer, an extraordinary girl
