More of an object, less of a person
More of an object less than a person
You take control of the household, you take control of the land
You take on initiative, you plant your feet in the sand
But you don’t seem to take responsibility, when it’s due
In doubt that anything could happen to you
I say no, I do all I can
And yet you still have your feet in the sand
You took control of my body, not the household or the land
You took initiative and yet you still don’t understand
I cry, i scream, I fight with all of my might
You did this to me, knowing it wasn’t right
You are no man, take your feet out of the sand, and you let go of Gods hand
More of an object, less of a person, you treated me like a toy
What’s done in the dark, will always come to light, you’re nothing but a little boy
I forgave, I try to forget, I do all I can
And I will take your place with my feet in the sand
More of a person, less of an object
I’m bigger than any man, stronger than any man
You thought you took something from me, but I won in the end
