More than a Powdered Face

I am more than a doll on pages of magazines

more than an imp walking the runway;

I used to be the smallest atom

lonely and so far away,

but I was drawn together

and became something more.

I am made up of galaxies and stars

of quaszars and supernovas;

I became light and laughter

a girl that blew away the clouds,

I drew in those other lonely atoms

and we formed something more than the Pillars of Creation.
