More than a stereotype
Highschool
A breeding ground for categorization
You’re athletic? Ya, you’re a jock.
Listen to boch? Obviously a band geek.
Dark clothes and mute? Probably a freak.
Be more than a stereotypeNo one takes the time to dig and see whats real
Everyones quick to judge but never want to see whats in between the covers
Who says you can’t play a friday night and go back home to write?
Who says you can’t get an A on a test while you might look different from the rest?
Be more than a stereotype Break down the walls set by those before you
And build a path so others may follow too
Do not be black or white with you’re character
Instead be the grey that has no barrier
