More than a stereotype

Highschool
A breeding ground for categorization
You’re athletic? Ya, you’re a  jock.
Listen to boch? Obviously a band geek.
Dark clothes and mute? Probably a freak.
Be more than a stereotype
No one takes the time to dig and see whats real
Everyones quick to judge but never want to see whats in between the covers
Who says you can’t play a friday night and go back home to write?
Who says you can’t get an A on a test while you might look different from the rest?
Be more than a stereotype
Break down the walls set by those before you
And build a path so others may follow too
Do not be black or white with you’re character
Instead be the grey that has no barrier
Be more than a stereotype
