More Than We See

"There is no such thing as magic."

Or, that's what they told me.

I wouldn't believe it, though -

To stop believing is to die,

To give up, to be nothing

But a speck of dust in the wind,

Screaming to be heard

But having no voice.

That's not who I am -

I have always had a voice,

And I will use it. I will be heard.

This is my magic; to say what I will,

And make it beautiful.

This is the magic of words.
