More Than What I Was

Some may look at me and think I am just one of those typical teenage girls,

but I've come to learn I'm so much more

Life has taken me through twists and twirls

It's been a series of opening the same closed door

Trying to complete an unreachable task

Climbing up the mountain, just to stumble down a hill

Giving people all they ask

Then learning how to re-fill

With alll the hardships I've endured

I would take not one day back

No longer do I have to be reassured

God has me on the right track

I've used the hurt others put me through

All the things gone wrong

My love has somehow grew

My mind and heart now strong

I can now stand tall and proud

My fears no longer here

Happiness now shines through the dark clouds

As my worries dissapear
