More Than You Will Ever Know
The time we have been apart has now surpassed the time we have been together
Still, that does not matter to me because I think I will always love you forever
I still think about you and wonder if you still think about me too
Nobody before or since has every made me feel the way I feel about you
When I think back to our time together, there are some things I would have changed
But maybe that wouldn't have mattered and it would have ended up the same way, anyway
Sometimes I think if I would have just fought for us a little more
It would't have been so easy for you to just walk out the door
I always think about us and those six, cool, crisp days in October
When I met your beloved dog, when you finally brought him over
For a brief moment, the three of us were like a family
Being with you at the park that day, really made me happy
I still look at pictures of you and still think you are the most beautiful girl
When you used to smile at me it would brighten up my whole world
You could make me laugh like nobody I met before or since
I want you to know that you were always loved and are always missed
It will always be sad to me that things ended up between us the way they did
Sometimes I want to make things right but it seems we both burned a bridge
Maybe it's better off that we both move on with our lives
Still, no matter who you are with, I think a piece of you will always be mine
I think about you, More Than You Will Ever Know
Do you really think that it made me happy, when I had to let you go?
I think about you, More Than You Will Ever Know
It was one of the saddest moments in my life, when I had to let you go
