Morgan Freeman

It started with that movie.

That one with Morgan Freeman.

As the opening credits rolled in,

that voice came into my ears.

Like soft grating gravel.

Invictus.

Who was the master of their fate?

Who was the captain of their soul?

At that moment, with the voice coming in,

I wanted to create a Henley within myself.

How amazing to create from the soul.

To capture music in words without a note being sung.

Yearning for that Henley moment,

For my soul to reach others,

through the voice

of Morgan Freeman.
