Morning Dew Silence

Oh how lovely it would be,

To sit under a tree with thee;

Content to be next to you,

To linger in the morning dew;

Peacefulness I can’t resist,

To share the silence of the mist;

Just to feel your presence near,

To know in mind and soul you’re here;

It’s nice to know that you might,

Even enjoy and take delight;

In simplicity and ease,

One obtains sitting under trees;

It’s easy for me to see,

Together there’d be empathy;

We can sense all that’s around,

Together not making a sound;

Leaves rustle, birds chirp, hearts beat,

Our morning dew silence is sweet.
