Morning Sails

The morning light dripped upon the emerald glory

Of the trees and land.

The wind barely stirring,

The rustle wave of green flowing

Like an ocean of earth and sand.

Droplets of water fell from each blade of grass,

In the beauty of the fresh morning,

In the bright color wash on the eastern sky.

Out on the Northern winds I sail,

Upun the great tides.

Over the currents and through the veil.

Of the curtaining rainfall wide,

Drawing, drifting storm above.

Folding whirlwinds high and rough.

Upon the greatest tides

Through the storms one eye!
