Morning in Vietnam
Mornings in Vietnam in the rainy season, the sensation of the moisture in the air gives me chills on the skin. The scent of the mildew every morning brings a great discontent to my nose.
In the rainy season, the weather is outrageous. I haven’t learn to adapt to such humid climate. The neighbors around me don’t seem to mind the weather, they already cope with it. The rain is a major disruption to my everyday routines. I don’t think I will ever learn to accept the rain.
In the rainy season, I refuse to not take a soothing shower. Although the water seeps through my bedroom walls. Preparing a tea causes too much steam but is a release of the rain. While the neighbors laugh and fish at the river caused by the rain, I hope the water doesn’t come inside my house.
