Morning Views

Sweet sentiments the birds sing to me,

This greenbelt of tall and lean,

shimmering tropical colors of green.

It peaks through my window,

dancing facets of light.

Touches the skin and warms the sight.

Expresso shades of

invigorationg smells,

heavy sips of coffee

a potion of awakening spells.

Small stretches,

a kitten in my lap.

Rubbing sleep from my eyes,

a perfect morning from a

long,

night's

nap.
