Mornings Of Panic

There are mornings where I'll wake up and immediately panic because, The world of reality became one that I can't believe in any longer... Those mornings I beg to fall back asleep into my dreams, They haven't became reality yet... Why would I want to open my eyes? But that's exactly why. To open them and see what's mine. The happiness I feel in the other dimension, When I toss and turn sweatin', Because I keep imagining me and her in the same settin', Inside the bed sheets, Legs tangled, Hands wrapped beneath her breasts intertwined, With the love of my life... Earth's concrete, Soil, Withering grass has been bloodied. Physical and mental wars have muddied all clean water left, Crumbling... We are in our communities, And all I want is a ticket out the fucking country, Flea with her hands in my palms humbly, And stay else where, Where it's actually loving... Nowadays everything's about pussy and making a profit. Men screaming bros ova hoes everywhere, When I rather have a slice of the pie than a sausage. Infidelity plastered on mass media, A medium of expression for this generation to lust on. Stigmatize women as a sex toy to bust on. Without prep for the test that lays ahead, Whether he'll wipe the mess, Or drop the rag... Run out the room and leave his family dead, In the past... The kind of men that are raised today, Pathetic. The kind of women that are raised today? Queens stripped of their power from inception. Boys afraid of responsibility while women devalue what they're worth, On mother earth... It's been a long time since I've opened my eyes, And seen the shine in the sunrise... To see any light, If she's not a part of my path, It's impossible to catch, If she's not in my sight... I guess what I'm tryin to say is, Even with society tumbling forward, This morning has been the first in a while I don't panic. For the simple reason that I don't feel too blind to believe in the love I finally see... The love this world overlooks to not retrieve. The love this world refused to give me... Just know, I don't care where you're from, What color you may be, Or what ideas you stand for. I accept each and everyone as is the same way the love of my life accepted each and every one of my flaws, helping me to become a better man... Maybe If we applied that today, We can finally see true change before we implode..
