The Mortal Beast

To understand why it exists, you must know its history.

Having experienced the devastation it leaves in its wake,

understanding its control over my life was no easy feat.

Giving it importance gave it power, and that is the history of hatred.

<p>I wrote this poem to share my understanding of hatred in this world. Hopefully to&nbsp;</p><p>enlighten souls who can articulate themselves better than me. And to also spread the&nbsp;</p><p>idea that we musn&#39;t give in to hate and bitterness. The world can only grow through&nbsp;</p><p>Love.</p>
