Mortality and You!

I will simply ask

Would you like to go out in a hush

Or a splat?

Do you want to be known

For jumping of the highest tower in Rome?

Or would you like to be whispered

 Of a life mundanely nurtured?

I am not here to judge!

My opinion is silent!

But would you like to fall in a war so violent,

As to see the sky red and many faces blue?

Of final heard words shouted to you?

Or like a candle burning wax,

Go Out.

Causing others little tax?

Of history recorded?

Or of secrets well hoarded?

With crashing parades of foolish charades?

Or a farewell forgotten?

A life death turned rotten?

This you must decide!

…so don’t ask me.
