The Mortician


I get to cover her bruises, and watch those that caused them cry over her.

I get to conceal her scars without knowing the story behind them.

I get to force on the smile she could never manage.

I get to dress her up, into the girl they wanted her to be. The girl she couldn't be.

I get to see the last glimpses of her reality. And I get to hide them away
