The Most Authentic

It's 3 am and where Am I at? Back on my high school track Watching you blasting out anthems While the whole school chants them It's very cliché to say But you spark up some my darkest days But that gone away You are always in my dreams You miles away so you can't even tell me what it means The most authentic girl you will ever see Can never be with me Seven years later I'm swimming with sharks They act scary, but all they do is bark All the while my spirit is getting colder But I see you in my dreams regrets grow bolder Now we're both older The most authentic girl you will ever see Can never be with me So now my heart gets eaten away by hate It is the only way I know to compensate I know it makes no sense, I love you, but I hate you Cause I can never have ya So now I give you the most authentic form of a heart displace Cause I know I never hold her, and Im taking that to my grave.
