Most Important

They did not lie to us!

I’m telling you, they did not!

They told us we could be whatever we sought

Oh, when did you stop believing that’s true?

You have surrendered to "easy" and that simply won’t do

Was it the truth of Santa Clause or the Easter bunny?

Don’t put up the white flag, don’t give into money

I know they have lied maybe once or twice

but you have to trust me, we weren’t meant to be mice

trapped in a lab, and tested forever

We were meant to create, to make our own treasure

You can do it, I promise

Just find what you like

even if it’s completely out of your sight

Learn about life, learn to respond

Learn about anything, everything and beyond

If you need some help, you need not worry

when you follow your dreams, they get much less blurry

Passion will motivate much more than the salaries

and eat your cookies, for life is not counted in calories

Now don’t you worry and don’t you doubt

Who cares about society and their silly route

For you are society and it’s your dreams to pursue

and to your pain I would say, “I bid you adieu”

I am going on an adventure, I’m not sure where it leads

Whether I go through thorns, bushes or weeds

but if I enjoy making better of something, somewhere

I know I have found success and that is my prayer
