Mother
It is me who sits in a slumber, only now do I wonder.
Who will sit by my side? who will hold these tears I've cried.
Will I be with no one else, frozen in the life, as I melt.
Take my hand and let me see, what this life holds for me.
You are my rock you are my hunger.
without you I have no thunder.
the storm we face is full of might
for only you and I can make this fight
You guide the way and I just follow
you show me how to face my sorrow
the storm is done we made it through
neither of us came unglued
for together we are strong
and never plunder, to what earth has fallen under
