Mother

Of all the things in this world

I need my mother the most.

I need my rock,

My shoulder to cry on,

The one who keeps my head on straight.

I couldn't live without her

She is my bestfriend

She is the air I breathe

The blood in my veins

My backbone

My heartbeat

She holds the other half of my heart like she holds the other half of my tattoo

Too many mothers sacrifice too much

And get nothing in return

Hard work goes unnoticed.

Everything I do, I do for her

I try my hardest to make her proud

To make her smile

She helped me become who I am today

This woman gave me my life, and I will give my life to her

Although my simple life cannot repay for the greatness she has given me.

Of all things in this world

I need my mother the most.
