Mother

Mother on the streets

An addict

It’s like being stabbed

being left there to die

It’s like you’re unwanted

It’s like you’re unloved

It’s like the addiction is more important

more important than I’ll ever be..

Coming in and out my life

Not calling for weeks, but calling when she please

Calling and calling

Recieving no answer, could it be

She’s dead out on them streets

It’s like the addiction is more important

more important than I’ll ever be...

 Frustration and sadness

Pours over me

like a broken piece of glass going into my heart

Tearing me a part

almost like contracting a deadly disease

It’s like the addiction is more important

more important than I’ll ever be...
