Mother

I can't stand you, I try so hard to live up to your standards. To please you in every way possible, Not caring about the toll it takes on me. I hid, every part of me, To please you! I hid my sexuality, I his my beliefs and what I stand for. But, I can't any more. Im tired of feeling less, I'm tired of crying myself to sleep, I'm tired of having to shut my opinion out of everything, I'm tired of needing your approval to feel accomplished, I can't anymore.
