Mother

Mother

we have been through so much toegther

expierences that I would not be able to make it through without you

there is nothing that I could say or do that would repay you for all your time and effort you have put into my life

when I was fourteen we came to the conclusion that my father, your husband is an alcoholic

I wish I could say that I was shocked

I knew from the long nights he would spend in the basement with his friends that he was an alcoholic

my mother comforted me, helped me with my homework, made me dinner

all while my father drank

and that is why I love you, and always will

our relationship is so much more than just a son and mother

it has made me a better person
