Mother

When Father in Heaven asked around

To see if someone would raise me

My mother gladly raised her hand

And said that she would take me

She said she’d love me the way I was

Although I might make her mad

She lovingly took me in her arms

And hugged both me and Dad

She laughs with me through all the best

She’s loved me through the worst

She’s healed me when I’ve gotten sick

My mother’s an angel on Earth

She teaches me when I don’t know

She helps me when I’m sad

She does the housework every day

To help us all feel glad

My mother’s an angel here on Earth

I know that to be true;

She does so much for me each day

I love her through and through.
