Mother #2

Mother,

I am sorry

I don’t know what to do

I wish I could get through to you

But I believe there is something wrong with me

None of this body seems to belong to me

I’m sorry

I can’t fix things

I can’t find a way to fix myself

Just know there’s something I fear

I’m sorry,

Mother

For this pain you must bare

It must hurt you to hear

That I fear myself

And that I live recklessly

And am destroying my own self

I don’t even think the original me is left

I’m sorry

What more can I say

I’ve said it but can I say more

Or rather no more

As I’m speechless

Should you love me anymore?

Do you love me anymore?

Am I even your Baby anymore?

Mother,

I’m sorry.

I’ve been broken for too long

Maybe you’ve known all along

Allow me to apologize
