Mother
A book unread, page by page
springs to life. A memory.
A flower blossoming. Scorched by the sun in the day,
the trees,
tucked in bed at night.
Ripped. Blood-stained. Death.
You are by my side.
An eternal soul of love.
never
thanked enough.
