Mother

The butterflies wings flutter

The volume of a helicopter

The knife fell from the butter

Clank on the kitchen floor

She only wants her Mother

To help, to hold, to save her from the pain

But she looks for that love in another

Another man, another heartbreak

The noise is loud, there is so much clutter

In her mind, it is hard to walk through the trash on the floor

She only wants her mother

To take away the noise.
