Mother


Did she exist before we were? She sits and stays and grows into her chair Like a fungus into that loathsome body. She fades from leather to leather, Sinking slowly into the recess. Fuck her slovenly slurs That fuddle her breaking, broken mind And flood it with seawater As the sea shells grind in the gears, Spinning and smoking inside.
