Mother

Your life that once was lives

On in my thoughts

If your time had continued

And God had spared your life

The path I walk now would not have been

Changes are made by one moment in time

Our path that was lost can never be found

Words you spoke just one day before

Are rememered forever

Since you speak no more promises that

Were made that you cannot keep

Continue to haunt the dreams of my sleep

Your presence is here mother and always will be

Forever cherished in my memory
