Mother?

What's the true definition of a mother? Does she tuck you in tight at night? Does she get drunk and always in a nasty funk? Does she protect you from the monsters under your bed Or defend you from the creeps trying to get between your young legs? What is the true definition of a mother Is it you, Is it me, Is it we? They say it takes village, A whole village to raise one child. So what is a mother? What does she do? Is she only responsible for delivery? Does she care, Or hate, Or even want you? What is a mother? Someone, Anyone please tell me what I am supposed to be I never had the definition in front of me! -jacquana l
