Mother

When you were born, and life was new

As she sat, and rocked, and sang to you...

And taught you of life, and love and truth,

She was always there to watch over you.

Time moved on, and as you grew

So much to learn, so much to do.....

Oh, the oceans, the mountains and skies so blue...

She was always there, to watch over you.

You grew up quickly, it was all too soon

With a bond so special, shared by you,

Her love and guidance there, your whole life through....

And she was always there to watch over you.

She loves you so, and remember this too,

No matter where you may go, or what you might do,

With the love of a mother, to your heart will be true,

And as always will be, watching over you.
