Mother

How great is the person, like no other

The person we're blessed to call our mother

She undergoes great pain from the marvelous thing called labor

To give life to another

Is there any favor greater?

She toils through day and night

Without complaint, she's this shining light

To which we look forward to seeing and embracing

When our days are dreary and not very amazing

Times when we feel down

Times when there seems to be nothing other to do than frown

A mother is there to 'insert what you may'

I ask if we can all agree when I say

A mother is awesome

For the reasons listed above

And many more, all which she gives with love.
