Like mother like daughter
It was that night you told me it wasn't real
you always discard the way I feel
like mother, like daughter everyone said
you do not understand
I am not okay, and you get so mad
you don't know that I can feel sad
i don't wish to live but yet I'm still here
still breathing, still eating, still smiling
I remember that night where I asked for help
no one could hear me and I felt so mad
i screamed and cried till you finally came
like mother, like daughter
never again
