Mother Dear Mother

"Mother, dear mother My numbers been pulled. take care of little brother I'm trying to be bold" "Son tell me your wrong, I won’t let you leave It's here you belong. this is something I can't believe." "It's I who has been draft. I've been given no choice. My fate has been cast, I don’t have a voice" "Baby my baby, You're only 21 My hands are all shaky. You were my first loved one" "Mother my mother, please try and be strong. I'll make those racists take cover I won't be gone long." "Farewell my brave child You'll never leave my prayers. For you are venturing in wild, and a mother always cares." "Mother my rock, the time is twelve noon It's now that I must walk, I promise to see you soon" "My baby's gone from me. Honey my honey, you can't even crawl, but your brother has gone to sea. Gone to be a hero for all."
