Mother Earth

I am choked

Beaten

Abused

Trampled upon

You tear me apart

Soon I will be nothing

Empty and desolate

Where has your love gone?

I provided for you

Nurtured you

Protected you

Now I am dying

You will fly away to the stars

Searching for a new home

And leave me here in ruins
