Mother Earth

The beginning the earth

She wakes to to the emptiness of the land

Walking upon the land was the epitome of beauty

Her supple skin reflecting in the wake of greatness

From the first step came the formation of the continents

Loneliness deep within her soul

She began to shed tears, born of those tears the waters

From the warmth of her body came the sun

From the thoughts of her mind came the animals of the land

One day born of the dropped blood from her hand came what she called  darkness

From the sorrow came every calamity known

From every calamity ever known came man

Desring the  curves of her figure  darkness began to desire  mother

Fear stricken, a lingering feeling she is being watched

A white bull called by darkness full of furry came charging knoking mother

She fought unable to escape the bull  mother from a top the earth, darkness tore her beutiful skin, cutting her lush hair, and stripping away all that she had created

Beaten , broken, mother gave until she could give no more

Crushing mother’s spirit, her heart breaks

The darkness in the distance, mother lay her sorrows of the land

Mother was born, mother sought, darkness taken her title of mother earth
