A mother most simple

Symphonies rise and fall, just as seasons change, 32, 506.583 Days have passed since the day I breathed my first breath.
Yes I'm as old as some antiques, my claim in this life is now complete, my children surround me not to grieve but to see what if anything they can get from me.

In their own right they walk in riches they spent so lavishly, so distant from reality, always worshiping the thing so intense forgotten are the promises of repayment and the interest it demands.

Minds filled with false visions of life, they could never live in the pastures of the past where peace was shared in a bowl of soup, warm bread passed around as the children regale their parents with the days events and chores were completed together as one, all lay down tired exhausted but content as they drift off to sleep.

Blinded by the Mighty dollar sign and obsessed with who has more or less. Price tag on all they have and negotiations are daily conversations, Justification resounds in there heads as excuses pour out there lips "my children will not suffer as I did" so blinded like the lady justice who chooses right and wrong, scales tip in favor of whom?
That depends on what shade of green you possess, no more no less!

Blinded by the need to be in Power, wanting to be served hand and foot, acknowledged for every accomplishment small or great not realizing its them who becomes the servant because power demands attention, thus was created an insatiable appetite which could never be sated nor satisfied.

Blinded by desire to be respected, unknowing are they of the sacrifices they will make that will cause such loss of integrity there is no way they could be trusted let alone respected.

I look around this modest place of mine and think back in time when the world truly changed from Trusting God to Self Help babble, so slight were the changes that even I didn't notice,
Children of mine you may say that I failed you, and for the most part its true because I could not be involved in this world that intrigues you.
Rebellion in our house led to you forcing my hand to take a stand with a fierceness not intended to be used on you but an intruder and turn you over to your recruiter.

As I struggle for my last breath I leave you with this one day my children whom I love so much I pray you find true love,
Love that holds no conditions nor does it conspire against you, it forgives quickly but never forgets you. I bless you
