Mother Nature Doesn't Care

Tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis

Is Mother Nature really nature mommy?

She doesn’t help us, look after us, or care

Instead leaving neighborhoods empty and bare

Leaving people hungry and homeless

Still standing, still breathless

After a storm, as if it couldn’t be true

But she makes things happen out of the blue

Whether wind, hail, or lightning

She won’t do something you will like

Don’t trust her, she will never love

Japan has had more water and waves than enough

California is done with her ground shakes and splitting power

Oklahoma is sick of her damaging winds that last for much more than an hour

So is she listening, does she care?

After all, she shows little appreciation and is unfair
