The Mother Tree

There is a tree that sprouts in the middle of my heart

She stretches through all of my being

Illuminating all what I am

And all that I will be.

She is the sun

She is my light

She is the fire in the dark

That keeps my soul alive.

Without her time and space cease to exist

She is my warm cosmic embrace

She is why I am alive

For she is my mother

And my Tree of Life.
